I have the issue with last week's isc-dhcp-server, ubuntu 12.04 LTS.
That package uses /var/run/dhcpd.run and does NOT use the sub-directory
/var/run/dhcp-server (as claimed by Jamie Strandboge (jdstrand)).
The solution for me was to add a symbolic link (as root):
ln -s
I have merged samba with Debian version 3.6.3-2.
I also updated also the symbol files of libwbclient0 and libsmbclient, I do not
know for sure whether this is desired. If not, please remove from patch before
applying.
Building went without problems.
I did not try to install as I do not have a
Public bug reported:
I upgraded a working 11.10 to 12.04 and now I no longer can login to
the machine.
Problem has been for several weeks now so it's obviously not a transient
problem.
What is happening is that I get no graphics login. lightdm starts I
think but fails to present a login
Recently the uWSGI project got php support via libphp (php-embed)
http://projects.unbit.it/uwsgi/wiki/PHP
Without proper php-embed support the uwsgi php plugin cannot be included
in debian/ubuntu
Some news about it ?
RedHat based distros (centos, fedora...) already include that.

We're waiting on approval for opulation into -proposed.
The plan from there is to get testing and population into -updates.
Then,
* release new images including this modification
* give some time for existing
OK, no idea if this will help, but when I get thrown into initramfs,
when running 'dmraid -ay', it says the raid volume is already activated,
but in /dev I only have the raided drive (dm-0) and not any of the
partitions (dm-1 and dm-2). Booting from a rescue disk, I have the same
problem and after
Here's what fixed it for me:
change the following line in sbin/dmraid-activate back to the same as it
was in initrd.img.3.0.0.12-generic from Oneric:
Change (around line 75):
# array brought up in degraded mode, except in the case of striped
arrays.
dmraid -p -i -ay -Z $1
To:
Ken,
for me, everything was in /dev/mapper and before running dmraid -ay
ls /dev/mapper/ only had the device, not the partitions:
isw_dgjgchief_Volume0
Then after dmraid -ay, ls /dev/mapper shows (p1,p2,p3 being my /, home,
swap partitions):
isw_dgjgchief_Volume0p1 isw_dgjgchief_Volume0p3
Debian uploaded 1.4.6 that could be synced to 12.04.

Thanks Maarten!
The symbol updates look a bit strange. I wonder why Debian doesn't have
them? It's the very same upstream version. Also, the versions should not
have the ubuntu revision in them, just the upstream version when they
got introduced. I propose to back out the *.symbols changes for
