I finally noticed that sadc has optional file locking with the -L flag,
so I suspect that will likely fix my problems. Just going to add -L to
the debian-sa1 lines in the /etc/cron.d/sysstat.

Various non-x86 architectures (POWER and ARM) don't correctly
canonicalize into things that libvirt natively understands.
The attached patches normalizes some alternative architecture strings
into standardized ones for Nova/libvirt.

after upgrading my system to 14.04.3 LTS and installing the Vivid-LTS-
Enablement-Stack the kernel log of my system is spammed with the
following message by the impi_si kernel module:

I see the same crash from time to time as well. Ubuntu 14.04.3, with
squid3 3.3.8-1ubuntu6.2.
