Retesting with the 8.04 release, it appears that libcups will now
correctly try to use the unix socket by default before trying to connect
to localhost. So I think this bug is now resolved.

Thu GNU TLS library does exit_group(2) when no /dev/random (or
/dev/urandom) is available (in the chroot, there isn't, so the TLS code
for LDAP is broken). Wietse Venema wrote the explanation Steve Langasek
quoted, because Wietse does not really like a library calling
exit_group(2).

Created a dangling symlink (/var/www/index.html - /home/ubuntu/fake,
cat: /var/www/index.html: No such file or directory) and tried to
upgrade from gutsy to hardy. The upgrade failed with -proposed disabled
and succeeded with -proposed enabled. Tested in kvm VM.

I tried to use ssh client from Hardy Live-CD -- it works fine.

This issue arose after I ran the automatic update ap in 7.1 and
installed all updates. We can access the samba share on a fat 32 drive
but the permissions are locked at read only. The permissions will not
change via the File Browser properties.
