Then you configure the snmpd.conf with a passthrough control which runs an perl script (in my case): pass_persist .1.3.6.1.4.1.21695.1.2 /usr/local/src/dhcpd-snmp/dhcpd-snmp /usr/local/src/dhcpd-snmp/dhcpd-snmp.conf The script in question can be downloaded from http://www.net-track.ch/opensource/dhcpd-snmp/. The script works from the commandline and with my recompiled net-snmp-5.2.3-4ubuntu1 from feisty for amd64 on dapper!
