I agree with Sebastien in the general sense. Only specific packages should now be picked from Debian and merged if relevant. We're focusing on stabilizing the packages for Karmic for now. That being said for this specific package (openipmi) and this new version I think the merge is worth having in

Well AJP seems to work OK on port 8009 - I am using it with apache. Shutdown is the only problem - it just freezes and I have to kill jsvc. My /etc/hosts seem to be OK - it is included inline bellow. Shutdown works well if AJP connector is disabled. Thanks for your work. Let me know if I can help

Hi Thierry I didn't actually see an error line until I logged off and logged back in again. It was almost complete, showing me in the terminal window that it was installing something. No error, just never moved on. Then when I logged back in, it gave me that crash report. Hope that's helpful.
