When using MySQLi and prepared statements, it seems as though some
write-based queries (such as UPDATE) end up getting bad values.
Specifically, items after a WHERE clause are getting values of 0 or
things like \0\0 where they should be gett

app on Mac OS X.

Here the descritpion of the problem:
The daily updatedb-job crashes, when the filesystem becomes too large. If this
depends on the number of files or size of all files i don't know. The

The original point of this bug is that initscript have code for killing
MySQL but this code is disabled in rather strange way (by putting
log_end_msg 1, see the first post). I think this code should be disabled
in more obvioius way or removed at all.
