It is, but only in my environment. I have a postfix user on my domain
(winbind), and that was interfering with the creation of the local user.
When it tried to assign the user to the postfix group, it failed,
because it can't modify AD users. Solution was to disable winbind, add
postfix user,

released tomorrow IIRC) and amavisd-new doesn't argue about perl -T
switch. Moreover, file /etc/amavis/conf.d/05-node_id has changed and now
uses hostname command instead of tailing /etc/mailname.

is installed) seems to be pretty common among Ubuntu scripts. Perhaps
re-thinking that assuption in general

The NC additional preseed (downloaded from the CC) contains the CC host
eucalyptus public key, which is generated at CC host install time. So
your preseed would probably miss that.
Could you explain the use case for installing, with the UEC installer, a
NC in a cloud without CC ? You'd be better
