It is getting a little too big for my liking as well. It would be nice
if we could have an tasksel option for ubuntu-cloud and then when the
user selects ubuntu-cloud then tasksel displays an option for the
eucalyptus options. If that makes sense at all.

UEC tasks should not appear in
The thing is... those tasks will fail to result in a complete UEC setup
if you select them. They are meant to be called by the UEC installer,
which does extra magic around it to make everything work in the end. The
fact that they appear on the tasksel screen is an unwanted side-effect,
IMHO.

them, both for usershare max shares and usershare owner only.

Actually Samba upstream does consider the non-threadsafeness of
libsmbclient as a bug, it's just that it's going to take a while to fix
it :-).
We're slowly but surely moving towards getting a thread safe

I'd no problem with symlinks.Then I've updated to Lucid Lynx, and now I
discover this bug.
I've added the following lines to /etc/smb.conf :
follow symlinks = yes
wide symlinks = yes
unix extensions = no
No success. I can't change to symlinked libraries when I'm connecting
samba from windows
According to the upstream developers at the time, it was considered
appropriate to gather these logs for bug reports. Perhaps the real bug
is that they are huge (not rotated often enough or too verbose by
default)? Feel free to do as you feel is best with the apport hook in
any case.

Yeah, looks like I can get boto to return the correct image is by
setting owners and executable_by to None. If executable_by is set to
['self'], nothing is returned, which does not make a lot of sense.
Good luck getting to the bottom of this. Frankly, this is beyond the
scope of euca2ools
