Public bug reported: The current UEC theme has the old Ubuntu logo, and the css needs tweaking. Whilst it isn't release critical that the artwork is refreshed; it would certainly be beneficial in providing a more polished UEC release. I am not aware of any string changes that are required, purely a logo a css tweak. Additionally, I have not heard of anyone that has been producing screenshots for Maverick UEC at this time. Looking into it, in Karmic and before, tftpd was started with:

And now it runs with:

start-stop-daemon --start --quiet --oknodo --exec ${DAEMON} -- --listen --user
${TFTP_USERNAME} --address ${TFTP_ADDRESS} ${TFTP_OPTIONS} ${TFTP_DIRECTORY}
So it lacks the -s (or --secure) by default.

[Bug 631737] [NEW] gvfsd-smb uses all cpu when trying to connect to samba share

We are using SAMBA as a fileserver authenticating off of the AD server. We are a company situated within Asia, as such most of our files are in either Japanese, Korean, or Chinese. Everything is running nicely execpt for: The problem is the SAMBA server might take up to 30seconds to open a binary file (mostly msword docs, but some photoshop files as well from a windows workstation. This *does not* occur when I access the shares from my linux (ubuntu) workstation. Reassigning - Samba does not provide any DBus interfaces, and gvfsd-smb- browse is part of gvfs.
