The truncating integer value 32 bits logline should not be emitted
at the ERROR loglevel. On 64 bit machines there may be several counters

So, I've retested this and used git bisect to locate the right patch and I'm
back on the one I mentioned before.
I'm certain this fixes the issue now, retested multiple times in a clean
environment.

Further to my previous comment, I have tried another printer which
appears to install and work OK. Main difference I suspect is that this
is an older printer and possibly USB 1.1 whereas the first printer I
tries may possible only be USB 2.0.
