[Bug 876458] Re: dnsmasq started before all interfaces are up

2011-12-03 Thread Clint Byrum
Thomas, runlevel 2 is not entered until after all interfaces listed as
'auto' in /etc/network/interfaces are up, as of Ubuntu 11.10. Since
dnsmasq starts in runlevel 2, it should not have any chance to start
before that network configuration is applied.

Can you send an ls -l /etc/rcS.d and /etc/rc2.d along with your
/etc/network/interfaces file and ls -l /run/network ?

THANKS!

2011-12-03 Thread graziano obertelli
To get this working we should change
parted mkpartfs primary ext2 start end
to
parted mkpart primary ext2 start end

and do something like

   dd if=/dev/zero of=temp_part count=1 seek=(end-start-1)
   mkfs.ext3 -F temp_part
   dd if=temp_part of=disk skip=start count=end-start

Tagging for 2.0.4 if we can make it.

[Bug 520265] Re: Out of date with AWS API

2011-12-03 Thread graziano obertelli
On our site we explicitly mentioned the current version supported
(http://open.eucalyptus.com/participate/contribute look for the API
links). I believe the developer's corner is the right place to post such
information, so I close the bug now. Feel free to re-open if we should
post it somewhere else.
