[Bug 547249] Re: Move the web interface to a separate package to remove apache dependance

2012-05-20 Thread Thijs Kinkhorst
This is not easily achieved as also upstream Mailman is tightly
integrated and upstream also does not really support this separation.
Mailman 3.0 (now in beta) promises to support this better, I don't think
it's worthwhile to still invest time into this for the 2.x series. If
you really don't want apache, use equivs.

[Bug 316283] Re: bind9-dlz-mysql - Please make a package with this option turned on

2012-05-20 Thread Jean Claveau
Even if it's simple to recompile, it's a pain to keep the packages
consistency as bind is often updated.

It would really help for server migration if we could store zones in db.

Thanks in advance.

/var/lib/ldap is here a symlink to another directory on another mounted
filesystem.
Deleting the contents of the directory and running apt-get install -f restored
some automatic backup of the database and now the system is running without
errors. Database has seemingly no differences from pre-upgrade one.

[Bug 1000174] Re: package lxc 0.7.5-3ubuntu54 failed to install/upgrade: subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 1

2012-05-20 Thread Corey Schuhen
Hi, I have the same issue. I played around and got a good way through
the issue. Starting lxc itself is ok. It's starting lxc-net that is
problematic. It is the starting of dnsmasq that is the issue.

It appears to be (at least in my case) caused by having /bin/sh set to
bash.

If link /bin/sh to /bin/dash, all works fine. If I link it to /bin/bash,
then I have the issue. Serge, can you see if you can reproduce this by
setting your /bin/sh to /bin/bash?
