Hi Eric, thanks for taking the time to file this bug report.
I've confirmed that this bug exists all the way back to lucid. In fact
it also affects CentOS/RHEL 6. I cannot seem to get krb5_cccol_lock or
unlock to link.
I'm not sure its a bug though. The function is not exported, so it
shouldn't

The second time to configure the database for phpmyadmin with dbconfig-

Is this bug really fixed in precise? I just upgraded from oneiric using

Thanks David,
I can confirm libpam-smbpass is already installed and services were
restarted after making the change. The results are the same. Full
system also rebooted for good measure.
There seems to be something iffy with the permissions: The rpcclient

Oops missed a previous comment. I don't think this is a problem with
puppet though. Puppet ensures the state of that file, it won't change
values unless the manifest was changed by the user.

I've never seen anything like this with postfix before. If someone can
give me a way to reproduce it when puppet is not involved, then I could
trouble shoot that, but I don't think this is a postfix issue.

take a look at upstream commit 6e83d0bd31721ac86003530dd2450221dd05d0c2
These functions were added later and were used by a Mac-specific project
that had a different export list. I'm fairly sure this is simply an
upstream bug and the symbols should be exported.

Hum, this is weird, things work fine here (12.04) with MIT Kerberos:
superuser@Enzo:~$ su - vhann
Password:
vhann@Enzo:~$ exit
déconnexion
superuser@Enzo:~$ kadmin -p kadmin/admin
Authenticating as principal kadmin/admin with password.
Password for kadmin/admin@PARENTS.LOCAL:
kadmin: modprinc
And then I got impatient, retested in myself and uploaded to precise-
proposed. Waiting for the SRU team to review/accept the package now.

Hum, I also tested with the 'modprinc -pwexpire 2011-12-01 vhann'
syntax. Both works. That being said, my KDC/kadmind server is MIT
Kerberos too.
