[Bug 1325175] Re: [systemd] ntpdate: Can't find host ntp.ubuntu.com when bringing up loopback
Feedback i've found into dconf that 'geolocalisation' had been switched to 'off' by some past package(s) upgrade. [Bug 1327049] [NEW] libSDL1.2 screen tearing still occurs even with version 1.2.15-8ubuntu1.1
Public bug reported: Recently, someone reported a bug with libsdl1.2 where libsdl always used the backingstore, which caused vsync issues. This bug was supposed to have been fixed with the release of libsdl1.2 1.2.15-8ubuntu1.1, however this did not fix the bug. Even with the most recent libsdl1.2 1.2.15-8ubuntu1.1, screen tearing still occurs when using full-screen OpenGL applications regardless of how the vsync settings are set. The current workaround is to edit the file: /usr/share/lightdm/lightdm.conf.d/50-xserver-command.conf And add the -bs option, so that the file look like this: [SeatDefaults] # Dump core xserver-command=X -bs -core Adding the -bs option causes everything to vsync properly, including full-screen OpenGL games and applications. But without the -bs option, full-screen OpenGL applications still tear and have vsync issues, even with the latest libsdl1.2 release. [Bug 1327202] [NEW] python-suds 0.4.1 is a beta version, and should not have been packaged
Public bug reported: While trying to make use of code that relied on suds 0.4, I hit a bug that was reproducible in 0.4.1 but not in 0.4. It appears that pip only carries 0.4, and upstream list 0.4.1 as beta. It would appear that this is another upstream who uses the classic 1990s Linux kernel version numbering pattern, where odd numbers are for development and even numbers are for releases. We should forward this ticket up to debbugs to warn the maintainers that the package should stick to the even releases, or package only the versions that also appear in the pip archives. We should probably check to make sure that we haven't seen any nova bugs that can be traced back to the pre- release version of suds. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to suds in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/742339 Title: Sync suds 0.4.1-2 (universe) from Debian experimental (main) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/suds/+bug/742339/+subscriptions -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs
[Bug 1315188] Re: No init.d script included in icehouse ubuntu packaging

[Bug 1327222] [NEW] Segfault: corosync segfaults randomly on Ubuntu trusty 14.04
Public bug reported: I'm running a two node HA Cluster with pacemaker/corosync and a pretty simple configuration - only an IP address, one service and two clone sets of resources are managed (see below). however i run into constant crashes of corosync on both nodes. At the moment this behaviour makes the cluster unusable. I attached the cluster config, cib.xml and the crashdumps to the bug, hopefully someone can make something of it. ~# crm_mon -1 crm_mon -1 Last updated: Fri Jun 6 15:43:14 2014 Last change: Fri Jun 6 10:28:17 2014 via cibadmin on lbsrv52 Stack: corosync Current DC: lbsrv51 (1) - partition with quorum Version: 1.1.10-42f2063 2 Nodes configured 6 Resources configured Online: [ lbsrv51 lbsrv52 ] Resource Group: grp_HAProxy-Front-IPs res_IPaddr2_Test (ocf::heartbeat:IPaddr2): Started lbsrv51 res_pdnsd_pdnsd(lsb:pdnsd):Started lbsrv51 Clone Set: cl_isc-dhcp-server_1 [res_isc-dhcp-server_1] Started: [ lbsrv51 lbsrv52 ] Clone Set: cl_tftpd-hpa_1 [res_tftpd-hpa_1] Started: [ lbsrv51 lbsrv52 ] == corosync.log; == Jun 06 15:14:56 [2324] lbsrv51cib:error: pcmk_cpg_dispatch: Connection to the CPG API failed: Library error (2) Jun 06 15:14:56 [2327] lbsrv51 attrd:error: pcmk_cpg_dispatch: Connection to the CPG API failed: Library error (2) Jun 06 15:14:56 [2327] lbsrv51 attrd: crit: attrd_cs_destroy: Lost connection to Corosync service! [Bug 1327326] [NEW] Out of memory while performing ContextConfig.webConfig
Public bug reported: This bug in Tomcat prevents me from updating my application DSpace to a more recent version in my production environment, which is a machine running Ubuntu 12.04LTS precise pangolin. https://wiki.duraspace.org/display/DSDOC4x/Installing+DSpace?focusedCommentId=59605577#InstallingDSpace-ServletEngine%28ApacheTomcat7orlater,Jetty,CauchoResinorequivalent%29 I plead for upgrading this package and its dependencies tomcat7-common and libtomcat7-java from 7.0.26 to at least e.g. version 7.0.35 like in Ubuntu 13.04 raring ringtail. I guess that it is a grave bug and should not stay in a LTS version. This is not requesting a feature update, but a bugfix. The issue was described in Bug 53535, a duplicate of Bug 53615 in Tomcats Bugzilla. https://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=53535 https://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=53615 It was fixed in Tomcat 7.0.30. http://tomcat.apache.org/tomcat-7.0-doc/changelog.html ** Affects: tomcat7 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to tomcat7 in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1327326 Title: Out of memory while performing ContextConfig.webConfig To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/tomcat7/+bug/1327326/+subscriptions -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs

One is a client with IP address 172.17.0.4, and one a server with address 172.17.0.3. The client sends out a multicast UDP packet to a certain address (224.0.2.5) reserved for the use of this software. The server dutifully listens for the packet, and it receives it. HOWEVER, the source address of the packet is 172.17.42.1 - which is the address of the docker interface on the host (and of course, not the proper source address). The tcpdump trace of this packet being sent is below: 20:28:39.474887 IP 172.17.42.1.bb 224.0.2.5.bb: UDP, length 713 Needless to say, this is extraordinarily confusing to my software - and when it attempts to reply, nothing good happens... You can see that it gets 'port unreachable' for that attempt to reply (as it should). The subsequent packet sent to the (correct) 0.4 address happens because that address is in the _content_ of initial multicast packet, and by then the software is operating on the contents of the packet, not the (incorrect) origination address.. Below is the full tcpdump trace of what's going on here from the server perspective: # tcpdump -i eth0 tcpdump: verbose output suppressed, use -v or -vv for full protocol decode listening on eth0, link-type EN10MB (Ethernet), capture size 65535 bytes 20:28:35.933507 IP 7db9eb0e89ee igmp.mcast.net: igmp v3 report, 1 group record(s) 20:28:35.934144 IP 7db9eb0e89ee.42650 10.10.10.20.domain: 18534+ PTR? 22.0.0.224.in-addr.arpa. The other piece that is missing is that zerofree needs to be SRU'd to main as well. Otherwise, open-vm-tools-lts-trusty won't install purely from main. Not sure that promotion to main is required for that. The zerofree package is recommended but not required. That recommendation came from debian bug https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=472799 because someone thought it would be useful to VMWare users looking to shrink their disk images. I'd argue that 'Suggests:' is a better choice as the relationship is weak; maybe we can do that if the 'Recommends:' is causing problems. Or just promote zerofree is no one cares. ** Bug watch added: Debian Bug tracker #472799 http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=472799 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to open-vm-tools in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1275656 Title: open-vm-dkms 2011.12.20-562307-0ubuntu1: open-vm-tools kernel module failed to build To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/cunit/+bug/1275656/+subscriptions -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs
