We cannot update 14.04 to a newer version. See

Utopic ships 1.3.21-1. 1.2.9-2 was only shipped with Trusty. I cannot
reproduce your issue on a fresh cloud image - neither on Trusty nor

When creating a python script with charmhelpers, the problem is that log()
function calls a juju-log() function which is only integrated in juju.
As such trying to execute
python -v hooks/install
will raise an exception: OSError:
We're past feature freeze for Vivid now, so I can't just update to the
latest any more, unless only bugfixes are involved or the release team
grant an exception. If you can give me backported patches though, I can
apply those. Otherwise a fix will need to wait until I can figure out

Hm, a fix was released... Can we have more info on what was fixed in apparmor
itself ? (which commit, and which ubuntu/debian package/version) ?
My server is in 12.04.1 LTS and I don't want to upgrade the whole system it
only for this, so I need more info.
I just upgraded my apparmor package
