We use nis ybind which is started out of /etc/init.d/nis which fails
because rpcbind is not running.

I don't follow this - simply restarting exim after the patch fixes the
security issue. keep_environment and add_environment will be unset, so
you'll get warnings in the logs, but both will be empty by default, so
no environment will be kept, which will work unless there is some
environment needed
This is a bug in the maintainer script then, and does not invalidate the
bug report.
The workaround works, but is still a workaround and not a proper fix.

rpcbind.socket is active, nis fails to start because it cannot contact
the rpcbind server so I guess it is not using the socket to communicate.
Reading the ypbind and ypbind.conf man pages does not have any info or
options on registering with rpcbind.
root@tophat:~# systemctl status
sooo...
i managed to install samba now.
i presume you did the same thing as me, uninstalled samba and deleted
/etc/samba.
the installer just presumes that this directory (or even the config file
in it, i don't know) exists and fails when it doesn't.
please try the following (fixed it for me):
