Kernel needs to provide FIFREEZE/FITHAW
What's the status of this?
I told you the problem and the solution. I have the branch done, I'm
just waiting for it (FIFREEZE/FITHAW ioctl) to be compiled into the
kernel.

Have you read the Upstream bug report (it's under remote bug watches)?
Just disable vmsync on newer kernels, this driver is not needed as long as
kernel provides FIFREEZE/FITHAW ioctls.

No new upstream release, yet.
But I want to say I plan on submitting what I have, it still won't work
with Linux 3.10 (I have no clue where to begin without breaking
everything), but at least it's something.
