Hi Ryan, I'm more than happy to let maas supply the data, I'm only trying to override the default behaviour by adding to /etc/maas/preseeds/curtin_userdata to get around the nvme bug. Here's the output: root@maas1:~# maas admin node get-curtin-config node-4c4aecf2-e332-11e5-a740-00163e1ca9db

Hi Ryan, This appears to have fixed the nvme partition problem but, I'm sure there are nicer ways to do it. root@maas1:~# diff -u /usr/lib/python3/dist-packages/curtin/commands/block_meta.py /usr/lib/python3/dist-packages/curtin/commands/block_meta.py.orig ---

[Bug 1551351] Re: dhclient does not renew leases

2016-03-08 Thread Rob Whyte
Since I am running dhclient -d eth0 I have not been disconnected. I do not intend to run dhclient this way, it is a part of the minimal system and should work in the background with no intervention. Who is actively working on this bug from Cannonical? -- You received this bug notification

[Bug 251632] Re: DHCP client should not create temporary files in /etc

2012-07-17 Thread Rob van der Linde
I noticed that this is fixed in Ubuntu 12.04, /etc/resolv.conf is now a symlink to /run/resolvconf/resolv.conf and /run is mounted as tmpfs so it now works if /etc is mounted as readonly. Maybe this bug can be closed now? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu
