I purged clamav and freshclam, then purged downloaded packages. Then I switched my mirror from the default U.S. mirror to anl.gov, and reinstalled both packages. On reinstallation, the freshclam dpkg configuration no longer has the proxy info autofilled, and the final configuration file has no

Although the module in question is not provided by Ubuntu, I was able to confirm this problem. It does not appear to be a problem with the Drupal6 package; rather, it appears to be a problem with the php5-curl installation. Simply running * sudo dpkg-reconfigure php5-curl * sudo
