Well, in fact I suspect about this too, as the wifi delays connection a
little bit. Any hint on how to prove this theory and fix it?

Perhaps the below problem is somewhat related to this one. When
attempting to restart squid on a clean/updated Ubuntu Lucid Server, I
find the following which is followed by squid server malfunction:
gere...@note1-server:~/server.squid$ sudo /etc/init.d/squid restart
