I'm definitely still affected by this, and I'm running the latest version of nbd-server (just did an apt-get update && apt-get dist- upgrade a few minutes ago). root@ltsp:~# dpkg -l | grep -i nbd ii nbd-server1:3.7-1ubuntu0.1

[Bug 569919] Re: ntpd constantly complains about being unable to create socket

2011-03-06 Thread Aaron C. de Bruyn
In my case, I have ntpd running on my router running 10.04.2. It appears ntpd is only complaining about interfaces that have both IPv4 and IPv6 addresses at the same time. My lan interface (eth0) has both and ntpd is complaining. It isn't complaining about interface 'i6' which is my IPv6 tunnel

[Bug 54918] Re: DNS-lookup to AAAA (IPv6) doesn't seem to work

2010-03-21 Thread Aaron C. de Bruyn
IPv6 is not 'part' of BackupPC. IPv6 is part of the OS. BackupPC uses rsync to backup files from linux machines which in turn is capable of making IPv6 connections. I can confirm that BackupPC using rsync to another linux box works. Since no one is answering questions or providing more

I am still running into the issue. I just upgraded the machine this morning from 8.10 to 9.04. In a few weeks it will be brought up to 9.10. The issue is most noticable with apache because the machine serves our corporate intranet. Whenever people try to access pages it takes 3-5 seconds for

Unfortunately I was not able to reproduce the problem with the data stripped out or anonymized, and they don't want to release the contents of the SQL file. We have worked around the issue and they are fine with that resolution. I wish I could be more help. I'll mark this bug as invalid. **
