[Bug 938485] [NEW] No keystrokes are sent - no outgoing serial
Public bug reported: minicom, while connected to for example /dev/ttyUSB0 - displays incoming data. *no* keystrokes are sent out. When closing minicom - some data is sent (a TX led will flash shortly) - the same hardware works fine with sercom, cutecom etc - but I miss minicom. -Reproduced this problem on three computers. - not sure when it was introduced, but it worked before. to reproduce, take any RS232 adapter and connect TX to RX, (or pin 2-3) - you should see what you write without local echo, or get double characters with local echo when TX is connected to RX ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 11.10 Package: minicom 2.5-2 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 3.0.0-16.28-generic-pae 3.0.17 Uname: Linux 3.0.0-16-generic-pae i686 NonfreeKernelModules: nvidia ApportVersion: 1.23-0ubuntu4 Architecture: i386 Date: Wed Feb 22 09:18:38 2012 EcryptfsInUse: Yes ExecutablePath: /usr/bin/minicom InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 11.10 Oneiric Ocelot - Release i386 (20111012) SourcePackage: minicom UpgradeStatus: No upgrade log present (probably fresh install) ** Affects: minicom (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: apport-bug i386 oneiric running-unity -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to minicom in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/938485 Title: No keystrokes are sent - no outgoing serial To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/minicom/+bug/938485/+subscriptions -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs

[Bug 664424] [NEW] PUT unable to upload to server - Error Code 1
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: tftp-hpa installing tftpd-hpa works. I am able to GET files (from /var/lib/tftpboot) using tftp client on another computer (both are Ubuntu) PUT does not work, it returns error: Error code 1: File not found This is not that the client side can't find file, because is I try to put a file that does not exists, I get: No such file or directory So - plain-installed tftpd-hpa is unable to receive files for some reason - maybe /var/lib/tftpboot rights ?
