[Bug 1184457] [NEW] Stores user configuration outside of $XDG_CONFIG_HOME
Public bug reported: Juju stores user configuration in ~/.juju. Ideally this would be stored alongside the rest of the user-local configuration, in $XDG_CONFIG_HOME/juju (this will almost always be $HOME/.config/juju). I've not yet checked whether juju stores any cache data in ~/.juju; if it does, that would ideally be in $XDG_CACHE_HOME. Using the XDG basedir spec directories makes it easier to determine what files are precious and what may be discarded, and so is useful for backup programs or users poking around trying to do manual backups or the like. [Bug 1006898] Re: [SRU] dnsmasq fails at leasing issues when using vlan mode
Well, what I meant was: the code that you're touching is in the dnsmasq- base package, and dnsmasq-base is installed on *all* Ubuntu systems, as a dependency of network-manager. It seems that the worst-case regression potential is that we break DNS on all Ubuntu systems, which would be bad :) lxc and libvirt have run into the same problems, and they added their network interfaces to the global dnsmasq blacklist, which at least means that the behaviour is only changed for users who install lxc or libvirt. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to dnsmasq in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1006898 Title: [SRU] dnsmasq fails at leasing issues when using vlan mode To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/dnsmasq/+bug/1006898/+subscriptions -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs

This seems like an important bug to fix, but I have reservations about changing dnsmasq's behaviour in a stable update. [Bug 578536] Re: when stopped, automount orphans some mounts
Sorry for the delay in review. The changes look good, and I'm happy to accept them into -proposed, with the exception of the changelog; the changelog should be “human readable”, and so needs a brief summary of the user-visible behaviour it fixes (in addition to the bug link).
