Sorry to bother you, but I think you can cancel the issue from the bug
list. As it seems it is just an permission problem. By de-installation,
running
$ ./configure --prefix/homme/.../clamav --disable-clamav
$ make; make install
followed by
# groupadd clamav
# useradd -g clamav -s
Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: clamav
tried to install/update the above mentioned daemon. installation failed.
The freshclam application also doesn't update as it it is supposed to do.
