The catch for the case *c_realm=null is inside the if ( !got_realm
!lp_disable_netbios() ) test so if *c_realm=null, got_realm is false

But I believe I'll wait on that one. Theirry, the fix that you are suggesting will not work. The libwbclient that likewise-open includes is compatible but not equivalent to the one provided by Samba. Here's a new rules file.
