Public bug reported:
This happened after a fresh install of Mythbuntu v.25 onto a clean
harddrive. The Ubuntu 12.04 Update Manager advised of many programs
requiring update, nearly 100. Four of these were updates to Samba
packages.
Functionality of original Samba install was not assessed since
