[Bug 960336] [NEW] grub-legacy-ec2 missing dependency: ucf

2012-03-20 Thread Kamal Mostafa
Public bug reported:

Package grub-legacy-ec2 needs an explicit Depends: ucf, since the
script 'update-grub-legacy-ec2' uses ucf.

The failure occurs when preparing a very minimal installation with a sequence
like:
debootstrap --variant=minbase . . .
apt-get install grub-legacy-ec2

Note that --variant=minbase is key to demonstrating the failure.
Debootstrap with the default (unset) --variant ends up installing ucf
for something else, hiding the problem.

[Bug 519897] [NEW] [armel] squid FTBFS: cf_gen Segmentation fault

2010-02-10 Thread Kamal Mostafa
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: squid

Internal build program cf_gen crashes with Segmentation fault in Ubuntu
Lucid (only observed on [armel] platform):

http://launchpadlibrarian.net/39001967/buildlog_ubuntu-lucid-
armel.squid_2.7.STABLE7-1ubuntu5_FAILEDTOBUILD.txt.gz

gcc -D_LARGEFILE_SOURCE -D_FILE_OFFSET_BITS=64 -Wall -g -O2 -D_REENTRANT -o

[Bug 519664] [NEW] squid FTBFS: dh_installinit: command not found

2010-02-09 Thread Kamal Mostafa
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: squid

http://launchpadlibrarian.net/38765058/buildlog_ubuntu-
lucid-i386.squid_2.7.STABLE7-1ubuntu4_FAILEDTOBUILD.txt.gz

/bin/bash: dh_installinit: command not found

---

This was fixed once already in squid (2.7.STABLE7-1ubuntu3), but that
change was accidentally omitted from the subsequent 1ubuntu4 revision.

(This most likely happened because lp:ubuntu/squid source branch appears
to be stale at present, yielding the 1ubuntu2 revision).
