[Bug 592442] Re: fopen fails on some SSL urls

2012-04-30 Thread chrone
i'm having the same problem here after upgrade from 11.10, my web server
could not set email using curl and google mail smtp.

i guess the culprit is either between php5-curl, curl, and openssl. :(

is there a way to downgrade each curl and openssl version but still
running on ubuntu 12.04 until this bug is fixed?

here's the apache error log:
PHP Warning: file_get_contents(): SSL operation failed with code 1. OpenSSL
Error messages:\nerror:14094410:SSL routines:SSL3_READ_BYTES:sslv3 alert
handshake failure in /var/www/piwik.php on line 114
PHP Warning: file_get_contents(): Failed to enable crypto in

downgraded to openssl 1.0.0e-2ubuntu4.5 didn't solve the problem too. :(

[Bug 876387] Re: fuser forking uncontrollably in cron job

2012-02-19 Thread chrone
Dear Ondrej,

apt-cache policy psmisc
psmisc:
  Installed: 22.14-1
  Candidate: 22.14-1
  Version table:
 *** 22.14-1 0
500 http://127.0.0.1/ubuntu/ oneiric/main amd64 Packages
100 /var/lib/dpkg/status

This morning I found out again there's too many zombie process and
fusers were all over taking % CPU usage. at that time, apache2 seems
couldn't parse index.php and make the directory listing
available/vieable to public. I then restarted the apache2 serviecs and
the index.php worked again.

psmisc has been installed, and i noticed there's an update to the php5
package this morning, but it seems fuser sometimes take % of the cpu
from top command line.

i also use php-apc package too.

[Bug 115475] Re: tproxy support (iptables squid)

2011-12-14 Thread chrone
i'm sorry for this long testing your package Amos, didn't have the time
to play with.

i'm using oneiric and your squid3 package right now. started squid with
http_port 3128 and http_port 3129 tproxy.

i assume do we have to compile the kernel for oneiric? or is it support
out of the box?

i will try to compile the kernel tomorrow, and should i need to
recompile iptables too? i only want to use it as not transaparent, but
has the ability to ip spoofing ip client to mikrotik router only.

[Bug 115475] Re: tproxy support (iptables squid)

2011-12-14 Thread chrone
i checked through mikrotik routeros, when the client accessing internet,
it used the squid ip address (192.168.1.142), not the client
(192.168.3.97). the squid is running the latest version of ubuntu 11.10
oneiric with your squid patch.

i need to configure the ip tables but don't know how if the squid is not
a router and a bridge.

my topology is: internet mikrotik client squid using the same
network

i keep getting the same error if i ran to 3129 (tproxy), but it's fine
with 3128 (not tproxy)

[Bug 157608] Re: Adjust Time - Sync with Internet Time Servers never syncs.

2010-03-12 Thread chrone
i confirm this bug is still here with ubuntu 8.04.4 server i386 with the
latest update up to this date. i use bind9 to my dns set to 127.0.0.1
and i use static ip address in the /etc/network/interfaces on eth0.

i believe by the time the ntp daemon tried to connect to ntp.ubuntu.com,
it could not resolve the server, thus it failed and produced this line
when executed ntpq -d: No association ID's returned. perhaps the ntp
got loaded first than the network interface and bind9 services.

[Bug 115475] Re: tproxy support (iptables squid)

2008-10-13 Thread chrone
this tproxy support out of the box would be excellent addition to ubuntu
server! i'm newbie and for me it's too hard to patch kernel and iptables
in order to make the tproxy works.

i need the ipspoofing from tproxy so that the squid will forward the ip
client address to the router therefore the bandwidth management in
router will still be able to do its work. but if the squid transfer the
client request with its proxy ip address, then the bandwidth management
will fail.
