Hi Scott. Thanks for understanding my concern for conveying accuracy in messages displayed to users. It stems from decades of being annoyed by inaccurate messages from Microsoft. I can appreciate that it'd be a task to write code to determine the state of the environment. That's why I was just suggesting a mild changing in phraseology rather than introducing more code. It is not necessarily easy to determine if the maas installer code is running in the installer, versus on a live system. Ie, if you've done: 'apt-get install maas', then the message is correct.
