Title:
openvpn init.d script
I tried again using command line, and by providing --writepid before
--config, openvpn won't start properly. By having it after --config it
works as expected.

I'm using exactly the same version of openvpn found in precise on
quantal and I don't see this issue; the pid is created with the VPN
connection name correctly.
Which version of openvpn are you using? Note that running the following
