Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better.
I think the underlying cause is that you're using the Quantal Hardware
Enablement Stack, which supplies a 3.5 kernel, whereas 12.04 originally
shipped with a 3.2 kernel. Details of this are at:
