Thank you for taking the time to file this report and helping to make Ubuntu better.
I appreciate the problem you're facing, but it isn't clear to me that this is a bug, and you haven't provided enough information to pin anything down. At the moment it seems that you're still investigating, and I don't think you're likely to get much assistance with this on this bug tracker. https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/isc-dhcp will show you recent updates to the DHCP client. You may also want to consider any kernel updates you recently applied, in case there has been a regression in your NIC driver. If you think there has been a regression in an update, then you should pin down the version that caused the regression by examining your update logs and trying downgrades appropriately. You can find pointers to get help for this sort of problem here: http://www.ubuntu.com/support/community. This should help get your questions about debugging your problem to a wider audience. Marking this bug as Incomplete, to reflect that this bug cannot make progress without further information. ** Package changed: dhcp3 (Ubuntu) => isc-dhcp (Ubuntu) ** Changed in: isc-dhcp (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to dhcp3 in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1250922 Title: dhclient: No DHCPOFFERS received To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/isc-dhcp/+bug/1250922/+subscriptions -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs
