FWIW, I repeated the test for Utopic and Trusty with the binary packages
from proposed with (unsurprisingly) the same results (no regression
observed).

Stefan did you test with the version of the package from the -proposed
archive or did you use one you'd built locally?

Title:
Hi Brian, to be honest I used the locally built one. Though I locally
build with sbuild with a proposed setup. And I take the same source
package which I then upload. So I am quite confident those are
functionally the same.

There are unlikely many to have proposed enabled generally. So based on
the feedback of Simon (thanks!) and the regression testing I did, I am
marking the verification as done,

Hello Stefan, or anyone else affected,
Accepted xen into utopic-proposed. The package will build now and be
available at
http://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xen/4.4.1-0ubuntu0.14.10.1 in a few
hours, and then in the -proposed repository.
Please help us by testing this new package. See
Testing with precise-proposed showed no problem when using xl directly
or through the libvirt driver. Since I only test with PVM guests, I'll
let someone else mark it as verified.

The observed failures were analyzed and could not be linked to a
regression in Xen. Based on that would declare testing passed successful
for Utopic.
