Hello Scott, or anyone else affected, Accepted bcache-tools into trusty-proposed. The package will build now and be available at https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/bcache- tools/1.0.7-1~14.04.1 in a few hours, and then in the -proposed repository. Please help us by testing this new package.

Ubuntu Wily has bcache-tools 1.0.8 release. There are no major changes to bcache itself [1] save fixes for working in systemd pre-boot environments, which for Trusty won't matter. There are a number of package fixes related to 1.0.8 introduction of a bcache_register program introduced for
