[Bug 1811552] Re: package samba-common 2:4.7.6+dfsg~ubuntu-0ubuntu2.6 failed to install/upgrade: installed samba-common package post-installation script subprocess returned error exit status 128

2019-01-15 Thread Andreas Hasenack
I think it's fine now, and the error was solved by another upgrade
outside of this one we just tried. Let's leave the bug as "incomplete"
in case there is new information.

[Bug 1811552] Re: package samba-common 2:4.7.6+dfsg~ubuntu-0ubuntu2.6 failed to install/upgrade: installed samba-common package post-installation script subprocess returned error exit status 128

2019-01-14 Thread Andreas Hasenack
Thanks for reporting this bug in Ubuntu.

Looks like this was the error:

error exit status 128

I have seen these perl errors before, and I believe they have been fixed
in another package.

Please make sure your system is fully up-to-date:

sudo apt update
sudo apt dist-upgrade
sudo apt -f install
