[Bug 316849] Re: mysql-server-5.1 doesn't start - skip-bdb option unsupported
I confirm I have the same bug with a fresh install of Ubuntu 9.04 Alpha-3 release desktop i386 edition. The solution of commenting out the skip-bdb line worked and Mysql was able to finish the installation. -- mysql-server-5.1 doesn't start - skip-bdb option unsupported https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/316849 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to mysql-dfsg-5.1 in ubuntu. -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs
[Bug 316849] Re: mysql-server-5.1 doesn't start - skip-bdb option unsupported
Interesting... this worked for me. But this is of course not an ideal solution as I'd rather not deal with the overhead. -- mysql-server-5.1 doesn't start - skip-bdb option unsupported https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/316849 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to mysql-dfsg-5.1 in ubuntu. -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs

[Bug 316849] Re: mysql-server-5.1 doesn't start - skip-bdb option unsupported
It works here too: Commenting out the skip-bdb line enabled me to finish amarok 2.0 installation on a recent jaunty installation. -- mysql-server-5.1 doesn't start - skip-bdb option unsupported https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/316849 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to mysql-dfsg-5.1 in ubuntu. -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs
