I'm going to mark this won't fix for now. Changing an existing topology in this manner is not something upstream Eucalyptus is likely to support anytime soon. Just to clarify: - You have a full cloud controller + cluster controller + storage controller + walrus on .1 - You want to move the SC/walrus part to .2 - Eucalyptus can't seem to deregister the SC from .1 I wouldn't be surprised if there were issues when trying to change an existing topology. About recommended topologies, see https://help.ubuntu.com/community/UEC/Topologies Most of them put CC and SC on the same machine, with CLC and Walrus on other machine(s).
