No, I don't have the problem anymore. Sorry for not posting an update. I am not sure about where the freezings were coming from, but since I removed 1GB of RAM, everything is fine (from 4 to 3GB). I am still trying to understand why that is. (Maybe those Non-ECC RAM warnings I had before updating
