That fix worked for me as well: I noticed two places where a superfluous '.' had been appended to a domain name. Removing them made everything configure correctly. -- package postfix 2.6.5-3 failed to install/upgrade: subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 75

According to your log file, main.cf has an error: newaliases: fatal: file /etc/postfix/main.cf: parameter myhostname: bad parameter value: vork.hsd1.co.comcast.net. , could you try to delete the final dot in your fully domain and then try to reinstall postfix? Thanks! ** Changed in: postfix
