  The MySQL server 5.1 in Ubuntu Lucid ships the InnoBase InnoDb plugin in
  /usr/lib/mysql/plugin/. Though this directory belongs to the MySQL
  server package it is not allowed by AppArmor. The shipped InnoDb plugin
  in this directory therefore can only be loaded by adding something like:
  
  /usr/lib/mysql/plugin/ r,
- /usr/lib/mysql/plugin/ mr
+ /usr/lib/mysql/plugin/* mr
  
  to
  
  /etc/apparmor.d/usr.sbin.mysqld
  
  Please note: This is about InnoDb plugin, not the default InnoDb
  engine.
