Thanks for reporting this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. Your apttermlog shows: /etc/default/tftpd-hpa line 10 '-s' Which must have some local customizations, as the /etc/default/tftpd-hpa provided with the lucid tftpd-hpa package only has 6 lines. If I understand right and you just wanted to remove it, then please do apt-get purge tftpd-hpa which should remove that file and any other remaining tftpd-hpa configuration.
