After I removed /var/cache/apt/mysql*, I could install the mysql-server package.
The packages were downloaded again, and everything went ok.

The cause seems to be that apparmor caught mysqld trying to open
/home/sandor/.my.cnf which seems a bug to me, not a bad download.
Why does the daemon looks for configuration in user directories?
