Hi Mario Thanks for taking the time to report this bug in Ubuntu. It sounds like (and the logs would confirm this) that you had a fairly major problem during your upgrade: dpkg-query: warning: parsing file '/var/lib/dpkg/status' near line 107172 package 'mortgagedashboard.d5933d05976099a064e8aaf337939cbcf079bb1d.1': error in Version string 'v1': version number does not start with digit ot/vmlinuz-3.2.0-24-generic frontend: Fatal IO error 11 (Resource temporarily unavailable) on X server :0. /usr/share/debconf/confmodule: line 44: printf: write error: Broken pipe run-parts: /etc/kernel/postinst.d/zz-update-grub exited with return code 1 Failed to process /etc/kernel/postinst.d at /var/lib/dpkg/info/linux-image-3.2.0-24-generic.postinst line 1010. I would try to complete the upgrade process by running: sudo apt-get dist-upgrade --fix-broken Hopefully this should resolve you original upgrade issue which in turn will fixup net-snmp.
