[Bug 1303886] Re: [Trusty] Xend managed domains disappear after upgrade
This bug was fixed in the package libvirt - 1.2.2-0ubuntu12 --- libvirt (1.2.2-0ubuntu12) trusty; urgency=low * d/p/libxl-support-sexpr-in-native-to-XML-conversion.patch: Allow to use libvirt to convert xend guest configurations into xml format. * Add libvirt-migrate-xend-managed-domains migration script. (LP: #1303886) * Added breaks for xen-utils-4.(1|3) to ensure postinst order. -- Stefan Bader stefan.ba...@canonical.com Tue, 08 Apr 2014 19:55:29 +0200 ** Changed in: libvirt (Ubuntu) Status: In Progress = Fix Released -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to xen in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1303886 Title: [Trusty] Xend managed domains disappear after upgrade To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu-release-notes/+bug/1303886/+subscriptions -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs
[Bug 1303886] Re: [Trusty] Xend managed domains disappear after upgrade
This bug was fixed in the package xen - 4.4.0-0ubuntu4 --- xen (4.4.0-0ubuntu4) trusty; urgency=low * Fix up some more stale 4.3 references in xen-utils-4.4 debian packaging files. * Remove update-alternatives for postinst and prerm of xen-utils-version as there is no xen-default anymore. * debian/rules.real: Add etc/default/grub.d and install xen.cfg into it. This adds a place to set Xen grub arguments and makes booting into Xen the default (with a warning message on running update-grub). * debian/rules.real, debian/xen-utils-$(VERSION).postinst, xen-sxp2xm, and xen-migrate-xend-managed-domains: Add migration scripts to the xen-utils-$(VERSION) package (LP: #1303886). * Add transitional packages for migrating xen-hypervisor-4.1-(i386|amd64) and xen-hypervisor-4.3-amd64 to add the xen-system-amd64 meta-package which is the preferred/recommeded way of installing Xen now. -- Stefan Bader stefan.ba...@canonical.com Wed, 26 Mar 2014 19:25:53 +0100 ** Changed in: xen (Ubuntu) Status: In Progress = Fix Released -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to xen in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1303886 Title: [Trusty] Xend managed domains disappear after upgrade To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu-release-notes/+bug/1303886/+subscriptions -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs

[Bug 1303886] Re: [Trusty] Xend managed domains disappear after upgrade
For the migration scripts I will add one to Xen and libvirt. They will only convert guests which have no target config file of the same name and after one successful run they will create a file in /var/lib which prevents them to run again. ** Changed in: libvirt (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided = High ** Changed in: libvirt (Ubuntu) Status: New = In Progress ** Changed in: libvirt (Ubuntu) Assignee: (unassigned) = Stefan Bader (smb) ** Changed in: xen (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided = High ** Changed in: xen (Ubuntu) Status: New = In Progress ** Changed in: xen (Ubuntu) Assignee: (unassigned) = Stefan Bader (smb) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to xen in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1303886 Title: [Trusty] Xend managed domains disappear after upgrade To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu-release-notes/+bug/1303886/+subscriptions -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs
