Sorry, didn't mean to imply UBS controls wasn't displaying anything. I meant that when I click stop, start, etc. no errors are shown in system log. And JACK does not start. QJackctl can't start JACK either. It pops a error dialog saying Jack server won't start. And, as noted the onboard devices

So, since I was running 18.04 I figured I'd get up to date since 18.10 is getting end of life. So, on my desktop I did the backport purge and then did do-release-upgrade twice. And I now have a working desktop on 19.04. No errors, smooth upgrade. Sound works as before. Cool! But (you knew there
