but I am only at what I believe at 2.6.32-25 lowlatency. I don't have sound
and there've been no auto updates and don't know how or what to do to get

Alessio... what kind of help xo you need? I am willing to do so but need
your guidance. I am not much of a programmer these days. But I checked out
you 2.6.35-17 lowlatency. It works like a charm under Lucid... what do you
require?
