Hi all, Specifically on Ubuntu Studio 14.04LTS, To get Thunar to open the containing folder of a file from within diverse applications using the point-and-click way, go to settings manager -> MIME Type Editor In the window presented to you, Search for "inode/directory" (without quotes), and set the default application to Thunar.
