I just finished installing Studio 10.10-alternate-i386.iso on this box
that already has Xubuntu 10.04 installed.
Disc ejected, and system went into reboot.
Instead of seeing a Grub screen with a choice of which to boot, I was
shown :

open a terminal emulation and run
sudo update-grub
then reboot. Are there any new entries?

Is it possible to upgrade an existing Ubuntu installation into an
Ubuntu Studio installation utilizing a version of Ubuntu Studio that is
on a DVD (Ubuntu-Studio 8.04.1 i386) ?
I have tried.
When the DVD is loaded into the DVD drive, dvdrecorder opens a file
browser with the following
