I only noticed this bug now after the final slideshow upload.
Merging this branch now and re-uploading would mean all updated strings
won't be translated in your installer as there won't be another
translation update and the installer slideshow isn't translated by
langpacks.

Long german entries in the system settings of unity in Ubuntu 12.04
LTS are displayed incomplete/truncated.
For example instead of the long word Tastaturbelegung only
Tastaturbegeg is visible for the user. The error appears regardless of
the resolution and the system fonts
