According to Japanese LoCo discussion[1], there seems a problematic
translation[2] in current langpack.
Correct placeholder is %(version)s but it misses last s in the
current released langpack. We seems to need Japanese langpack update for

Cannot enable ibus or input Japanese text inside webapp-container.
WORKAROUND:
launch webapp-container with QT_IM_MODULE variable like the line below.
$ env QT_IM_MODULE=ibus webapp-container --app-id=Gmailmailgooglecom
--webapp=XX --enable-back-forward
An upstream debian bug is talking about setting QT_IM_MODULE for fcitx, but the
idea is the same for fixing IM in QT5.

unity-firefox-extension, has a integration with Launchpad in translations.
(20時55分46秒) nobuto: Can you take a look into unity-firefox-extension and apply
those mechanism into ubufox?

Title:

In Japanese(ja) locale, the question is not shown as translated.
It seems that the string was translated on Oct 6 but it's not included in
-proposed package.

Hi David,
hmm... that's weird.

says the deadline was October 9th.
The mail for heads up for this translation has been sent on Oct 4th.

Currently ubufox is not integrated with Launchpad in translations.
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Translations/KnowledgeBase/Ubufox
It would be great if ubufox can support LP integration like
unity-firefox-extension.
It sounds like related to:
Public bug reported:
You should restart Firefox now to install updates. popup is not translated.
See.
https://launchpadlibrarian.net/121934593/restart-popup.png
The string has been changed on ubufox 2.3-0ubuntu1 during quantal cycle.
Currently no locale has translations for the string.
With my branch attached to this bug, the dialogue is marked as
translatable and a new .pot will be generated during build as usual.
In my test, the title Record your encryption passphrase is shown as
translated, but still no luck with the description. Strange...

Oh wait, removing line breaks on the description, i.e. integrating
multi-paragraphs into one, works fine.

Can someone confirm this? If so, what package should I file the bug for?

@David,
Ubuntu Oneiric package gufw 11.10.2-0ubuntu1 has the incorrect translations.
But I agree with Costales, this is low importance indeed.
